this week's healthy food prep: 7/27
the most flavorful and balanced week of eats so far
the more i do these preps, the more i learn about being strategic, both in the grocery store and the kitchen. i want to make the most of what i buy while still also utilizing pantry staples i have at home.
i recently started adding a grocery list to these posts because i want my preps to be as easy and approachable as possible. if there’s anything else i can do to add to this experience for you, please let me know ❤️ it’s so helpful to go into these preps with a plan!
as for the recipes themselves, the word of the week here is most definitely ‘flavor’. every single recipe is packed with it, and i tried to get pretty creative with each one.
for sweets, i incorporated some fruity elements as an ode to warmer weather. for savory dishes, i went herb-first. think a cilantro lime dressing, a parsley packed bean salad, and a spiced lamb meatball that will blow your mind.
the menu:
blueberry yogurt cake
cilantro lime sweet potato steak salad
cumin & feta lamb meatballs
maple dijon double bean salad
dark chocolate raspberry brownie bars
the grocery list:
note that a handful of these items are pantry staples, so you may already have them on hand and won’t need to purchase :) or if you do need to buy them, i have plenty of other recipes that call for these ingredients, so you’ll have plenty of use for your purchase!
